More patties, less cheese, or no meat?

A Double-Meat has two patties without the Double-Double’s cheese. A 3×3 pairs three patties with three cheese slices; a 4×4 pairs four of each. A Grilled Cheese omits beef and contains two cheese slices. These distinctions define the build before any onion or sauce request.

Change the preparation without losing the build

Protein Style replaces the bun with lettuce. Animal Style adds a mustard-cooked preparation with pickles, extra spread and grilled onions. Neither name alone identifies a patty count.
