Secret menu

Not so secret. Much easier to order.

In-N-Out’s official Not So Secret Menu lists six choices: Double-Meat, 3×3, 4×4, Grilled Cheese, Protein Style and Animal Style. Viral nicknames should be checked separately from those published preparations.

The six officially listed choices

Other names need their own evidence

The Flying Dutchman is described in company history. Animal Style Fries is a familiar loaded side described in secondary menu reporting. A source for one does not automatically verify every other fan-menu nickname.

The Gorilla Style and Roadkill Fries guides explain why an internet label should not be treated as a guaranteed kitchen order.

How to describe a custom order

  1. Name the base burger or side.
  2. Specify the patty and cheese counts if changing them.
  3. State the preparation and ingredients you want changed.
  4. Confirm availability and price before paying.

For the regular selection, return to the in n out menu. For calories, use a nutrition row matching the actual preparation rather than guessing from its nickname.
